Flash Fiction Challenge #14

Here’s the latest set of restrictions. As I’ve said a few times now, my deadline for the story is Monday, thirteen days from now, however, I’m going to try to get it done in a week instead.

I’ll be totally honest, I’m not sure I’ll be able to do that technical restriction. Not without much pain.

Oh, and because it’s been such a long time, and because this is the perfect example, I feel I must add the reminder that the title and dialogue are exempt from the technical restriction. But only the title and dialogue (and the premise would be too, I suppose, if it contained any text that needed to be used in the story).

Title: Shall I Compare Thee to a Lukewarm Vanilla Latte?

Premise: The light/heat from the sun is gradually fading and something must be done.

Dialogue: “Do you really need to stick that many pins in your head?”

Technical: Cannot use the letter ‘e’.
