Flash Fiction Challenge #15

Swings and roundabouts, I guess. This week’s technical restriction is about as simple as they get, which is a refreshing change from the last one. As for the others, an interesting spread. Overall not as radical as the previous restrictions, I suspect this’ll be more of a conventional story.

But we’ll see.

Title: Tip of my Tongue

Premise: A person, all alone in an empty mansion, drops their glasses, rendering them functionally blind. Suddenly, they hear footsteps.

Dialogue: “I told you what to do.”

Technical: Must be written in the past tense.
