Weekly Flash Fiction Challenge #9

I have decided to trial a slightly altered version of the challenge by changing the genre restriction into a premise restriction. It is exactly what it says on the box, it outlines the premise that the story will then have to be based around. I don’t know if it will work perfectly – it might be too restrictive – but we’ll try if for the next couple of weeks and then consider changing again if necessary.

So here are this week’s restrictions, including the inaugural premise:

Title: The Idea Nexus

Premise: A group of friends on a 9 day cruise notice the crew disappear one by one.

Dialogue: “When I felt the cold pebbles under my feet, I knew where you brought me, but I never thought you’d be this cruel!”

Technical: Can’t start any sentences with a word starting with ‘th’.

Remember: if you want to contribute to next week’s restrictions, leave your suggestion/s in the comments below and each restriction will be randomly selected from there, one per person to keep them nice and individual.
